Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Pokemon Tales, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or refund within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and with the original packaging. Items that are used, damaged due to improper handling, or missing parts not caused by our error may not qualify.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return due to hygiene or safety concerns, including:

  • Personal comfort toys (such as calming plush with embedded light/music features) once opened
  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Gift cards or digital gift certificates

Proof of Purchase

A valid receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns. Please do not send your items back to the product manufacturer directly.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted. For example:

  • Items returned in a used or opened condition
  • Items not in original packaging
  • Returns requested after 30 days from delivery

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you via email. If your refund is approved, it will be processed within a few business days and credited to your original payment method.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take several days for the refund to post.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing time may vary.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Discounted or clearance items are non-refundable unless defective.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. To request an exchange for the same item, please email us at decoration@pokemontales.org and send the item to:

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed or mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

  • You are responsible for your own return shipping costs.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • If your refund is approved, the return shipping cost may be deducted from the total refund.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for higher-value items. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your return without tracking.
